I want to know more about a Personal Relationship with Jesus

Accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior is the greatest decision you will ever make!

and it is as simple as 1,2,3...

1.  Accept Responsibility for our own sin...

The Bible says in Romans that "none are righteous, no not one. (Romans 3:10) and "for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) We must understand that we are sinners in desperate need of a Savior!

Without Jesus we are lost debtors to our sin and the Bible says that "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

2.  Accept Jesus' Sacrifice for our sin...

The Bible says "but God showed his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8).  The penalty of my sin and your sin is death, but Jesus loved us so much that he was willing to take our place and pay that debt for us so that we did not have to face eternity separated from God in hell, a place that was not intended for us.

3.  Ask for it...

The Bible tells us that we can freely have salvation from our sins, but we must ask for it. "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved... For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved!" (Romans 10:9,10,13).

You can do it right now, and if you mean business with God, he will mean business with you!... just pray something like this...

"Jesus, I know I'm a sinner, I'm not sure how to pray, but I know I need you. Lord I am sorry for my sin, I pray you would forgive me and help me live for you. Today, I give you my life and dedicate myself to following you. Jesus, please save me! I believe you died to pay for my sin and I accept your sacrifice and free gift of salvation. Now Lord, help me to live for you all the days of my life, in Jesus name, Amen!
